“Love in Action” toward educational equity!

At Vintage Amour Advocacy Group, we believe every child deserves equitable access to education, meaningful support, and a voice at the table. Our mission is to guide families through the complexities of special education law (IDEA, Section 504), ensuring every student’s needs are recognized, respected, and met with excellence.

At Vintage Amour Advocacy Group, we provide compassionate and knowledgeable support to families navigating the special education process. Our services are designed to educate, empower, and advocate, ensuring students receive the services and accommodations they deserve.
We support families throughout the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs IEPs and 504 Plans. This includes preparing parents for meetings, reviewing documents, identifying gaps in services, and ensuring accommodations align with student needs.
We conduct thorough reviews of IEPs, evaluations, progress reports, and school documentation to help families understand what is being offered and what may be missing. Our goal is to ensure services are appropriate, compliant, and student centered.
We equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and confidence to effectively advocate for their child. Coaching sessions focus on understanding special education rights, navigating school communication, and preparing for meetings or next steps.
We attend school meetings with families or provide behind the scenes preparation support. This service helps ensure conversations remain focused, productive, and aligned with the student’s educational needs.
We offer individualized consultation for families seeking clarity around evaluations, eligibility, accommodations, service delivery, or school concerns. This service is ideal for parents who need guidance but are unsure where to begin.
We help families understand their rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act IDEA and guide them in identifying whether schools are meeting legal obligations related to services, timelines, and implementation.
We assist families in developing effective communication strategies with schools and districts. Our approach promotes collaboration, professionalism, and relationship building while keeping the student’s needs at the center.
We provide guidance for key educational transitions, including early intervention to school age services, elementary to middle school, middle to high school, and post secondary planning. Our focus is on continuity of support and long term success.
We advocate for fair and equitable access to educational opportunities for students with disabilities, ensuring that decisions are made with inclusion, dignity, and student wellbeing in mind.
